Well kids… the moral of the story is pop pills if you got’em. Or don’t. This 6 track solo effort is about an absolute admittal as what not to do as a successful artist with money and fame as one can find. And yet its brilliant. Mad Child delves into his own personal nightmares as he spreads his life’s vices out via audio. As the head of Battle Axe and one half the Canadian/Californian based group Swollen Members (along with Prevail), Mad Child has always laced the mic with a strong, wicked style. And with this EP we gain a certain understanding as to why. High energy beats melded with a few comical pop based ones, this effort is full of eye opening descriptions as to why drugs and strippers are bad… umm kay? However don’t let the subject matter cause you to shy away, this is definitely worth picking up. A solid production.
